Last year, the sky went black. The birds went silent. And something extraordinary happened—right here in our own backyard.

Kemp students captured the solar eclipse with NASA-grade telescopes and turned that once-in-a-lifetime moment into something even bigger: a documentary. And not just any documentary—a real, student-led production that’s now hitting the big screen.

“Gathered in Darkness” premieres on April 23rd at Hometown Cinemas in Gun Barrel City.

Doors open at 7:15 PM | Free admission

Screening starts at 8:00 PM | Followed by a live Q&A with the Kemp High School Eclipse Team.
